The Freeman “B” team found the H.T.R.S. “B” team to be very good and went down to their 2nd loss of the season 22 to 9. Talisa Buhr got the team started with five points the first quarter but H.T.R.S, still led 8 to 5 after one quarter. The 2nd and 3rd quarter Freeman could not score a point while H.T.R.S. scored 4 points each quarter to lead 12-5 and 16-6 heading into the final 6 minutes. Grace VanEngen tossed in two baskets during the final six minutes to bring the Freeman final score to 9 points but H.T.R.S. added 6 points to their total to make the final score 22to 9. The Freeman “A” team put together a fine game to win going away 42 to 21. Freeman led 14-5; 27-10 and 34-17 at the quarter breaks. Kaylee Denker led the scoring with 14 points; Kylie Boyer, Paige Mahler & Kaylee Bures each tossed in 8 points while Autumn Schoen and Lexi Winkle each scored 2 points. A bright point for the young Lady Falcons was their free throw shooting as they made 10 of 11 attempts. The win upped the “A” team record to 3 wins and 1 loss.
