Lady Falcons Open Their Track Season at Wilber Invite

The Lady Falcons opened their track season last night with a tie for a third place finish at the Wilber Invite.  The Wilber-Claytonia girls won the meet with 115.5 points, Heartland Community Schools was second with 83 points and the Lady Falcons and Tri County tied with 64 points to round out the top three.  We had some great leadership from all of our Seniors and Katie Unvert really stepped up and helped us out in some relays when we had to make some changes.  We also had two freshmen, Kayla Haynes and Ashley Oltman contribute in a big way by each winning one of their events.  The next action for the Lady Falcons is next Tuesday at the Thunderbird Invite at JCC.

Individual Results for Freeman were as follows:

High Jump:  Kayla Haynes, 4th place, 4’ 6”

100 Meter Hurdles:  Kayla Haynes, 1st place, 17.2

200 Meter Dash:  Tori Bredvick, 2nd place, 28.5; Joslyn Schiebur, 6th place, 29.6

400 Meter Dash:  Tori Bredvick, 3rd place, 65.0

800 Meter Run:  Lauren Parde, 5th place, 2:44.3

1600 Meter Run:  Ashley Oltman, 3rd place, 6:14.8; Alexis Holland, 4th place, 6:19.4

3200 Meter Run:  Ashley Oltman, 1st place, 13:05.5

4oo Meter Relay:  Tessa Hestermann, Kayla Haynes, Katie Unvert, and Tori Bredvick, 5th place, 58.2

1600 Meter Relay:  Lauren Parde, Katie Unvert, Alexis Holland, and Emily Lenners, 5th place, 4:43.5

3200 Meter Relay:  Alexis Holland, Katie Unvert, Lauren Parde, and Emily Lenners, 2nd place, 11:09.2
