A Visit From Jerry Pallotta

Freeman students from preschool through sixth grade were entertained by author Jerry Pallotta on October 8. Pallotta, a Massachusetts native and author of ninety books, talked about how he comes up with his ideas and shared his stories with the students. He involved the students by bringing them up front and interacting with them. The students were excited to meet the author of many of the books they read and use in the classroom and to hear that voice actually read some of those stories. Several students had the opportunity to eat lunch and chat with Pallotta. The teachers also had an opportunity to visit with Pallotta after school with snacks provided by the Freeman PTO. Jerry Pallotta’s visit was paid for by grants from the Hevelone Center, the Freeman Public Schools Foundation, and the Freeman PTO. We appreciate the generosity of these organizations.
