Lady Falcons Fare Well At Conestoga Invite

The Freeman girls track team traveled to Murray, NE to participate in the Conestoga Cougar Invite on Tuesday.  It was a beautiful day for a meet against some teams that we typically don’t see.  Lincoln Lutheran won the meet with 133 points and were followed in second place by Conestoga with 109 points.  Wilber-Claytonia and Plattview tied for third place with 93 points.  The Lady Falcons finished sixth in the ten team invite.  The Lady Falcons scaled back their entries somewhat due to the fact they would be competing in the Mudecas Conference track meet the following day, due to a rainout.  Ms. Renken was very pleased with the girls’ efforts against some very competitive opponents and the sixth place team finish.  Several girls set personal records for their events which helped us with the team scoring.  Individual results for Freeman were as follows:

Shot Put:  5th place, Alaina Huls, 34' 8.25"

Triple Jump:  4th place, Elizabeth Milke, 29' 6.5"

400 Meter Dash:  4th place, Tori Bredvick, 64.02

1600 Meter Run:  3rd place, Marissa Waters, 6:15.78

400 Meter Relay:  6th place, Abby Mason, Joslyn Schiebur, Katie Unvert, and Felisha Moore, 56.97

1600 Meter Relay:  5th place, Abby Mason, Katie Unvert, Joslyn Schiebur, and Troi Bredvick, 4:37.15

3200 Meter Relay:  3rd place, Lyndsey Ehmen, Jessica Larkins, Alexis Holland, and Marissa Waters, 10:56.08
