Lady Falcons Compete at JCC Invite

On a cool and misty day the Lady Falcons traveled to Johnson County Central to compete in the Thunderbird Invitational.  Lincoln Lutheran ran away with the meet by scoring 111 points.  Conestoga was in 2nd  place with 84 points and Johnson County Central rounded out the top three with 77 points.  The Lady Falcons scored 30 points on their way to an 8th place finish in the 11 team invite.  Joslyn Schiebur finished just out of the finals in the 200 meter dash with a time of 29.87 and 9th place.  In her first high school track meet, Felisha Moore made the finals and her leap of 13' 9.25" was just one quarter of an inch from placing.  She finished in seventh place.  One of the highlights of the meet for the Lady Falcons was the first place finish of the 3200 meter relay team.  The team consists of Lyndsey Ehmen, Jessica Larkins, Alexis Holland, and Marissa Waters.  Individual results for Freeman were as follows:

Shot Put:  4th place, Alaina Huls, 33'

100 Meter Dash:  5th place, Tori Bredvick, 13.81

400 Meter Dash:  3rd place, Tori Bredvick, 65.07

1600 Meter Run:  5th place, Alexis Holland, 6:15.46

400 Meter Relay:  5th place, Mariah Waters, Joslyn Schiebur, Katie Unvert, and Tori Bredvick, 57.66

1600 Meter Relay: 4th place, Lyndsey Ehmen, Katie Unvert, Alexis Holland, and Tori Bredvick, 4:46.49

3200 Meter Relay:  1st place, Lyndsey Ehmen, Jessica Larkins, Alexis Holland, and Marissa Waters, 11:15.44
