The Freeman Lady Falcon junior varsity capped off a successful season with a championship at the Dorchester Tournament on Saturday, October 11th.   After outlasting Milford in a tough battle in the early morning match, the Falcons went on to defeat Meridian in the semifinals, and Sutton in the championship game.  Freeman had several highlights to the season, including championships in the Lewiston and Wilber Invites, as well as bringing home the trophy in their own invitational.  The girls played very consistent throughout the year and challenged themselves to maintain their high expectations of ending the junior varsity season at 17-0.   The Freeman ‘C’ Team ended the year with a record of 5-2, and also made great improvements in fundamentals and teamwork throughout the season.  We would like to thank the parents and spectators for all the wonderful support shown to these young ladies throughout the volleyball schedule.  We always had a group of enthusiastic fans at each game, and that means a lot to these young ladies and their coaches.  Thanks for a wonderful year, ladies! Keep up the great work and never stop trying to reach your goals.  It was a pleasure to watch you work together this season to accomplish the milestones you set for yourselves at the beginning of the summer.  With each player contributing to the team’s success, it’s going to be a bright future for Freeman Volleyball!
