Lady Falcons Compete At Thunderbird Invite

Ten teams traveled to Johnson County Central to compete in the Thunderbird Invitational.  It was a tight race in the fight for the team title with Lincoln Lutheran edging Tri County by one point, 85-84, for the championship.  Freeman followed with 78.5 points and a third place finish.  Individual results for the Lady Falcons were as follows:

Long Jump:  1st place, Marissa Haynes, 15’ 10”
Shot Put:  1st place, Alaina Huls, 37’1”
High Jump:  5th place tie, Lauren Parde, 4’ 4”
3200 Meter Relay:  1st place, Cassidy Mason, Lauren Parde, Alexis Weiden, and Emily Lenners, 11:23.4
100 Meter Dash:  4th place, Marissa Haynes, 13.4; 6th place, Taylor Sugden, 13.8
400 Meter Dash:
 1st place, Tori Bredvick, 66.2
3200 Meter Run:  5th place, Marissa Waters, 13:57.6; 6th place, Lauren Parde, 14:03.8
200 Meter Dash:  4th place, Tori Bredvick, 29.0
800 Meter Run:  3rd place, Alexis Holland, 2:47.2; 5th place, Emily Lenners, 2:48.7
1600 Meter Run:  5th place, Alexis Holland, 6:24.4; 6th place, Jessica Larkins, 6:28.5
400 Meter Relay:  3rd place, Megan Timms, Marissa Haynes, Tori Bredvick, Cassidy Mason, 55.8
1600 Meter Relay:  2nd place, Cassidy Mason, Mariah Waters, Tori Bredvick, and Emily Lenners, 4:43.0

Next action for the Lady Falcons will be the Lewiston Invitational held in Pawnee City, April 15th.
