Freeman Girls Track Team Finishes 2nd in MUDECAS Class A Track Meet

Seven teams participated in the class A MUDECAS track meet held at Johnson County Central on Saturday.  Pawnee City proved to be a formidable opponent and scored 154 point on their way to the championship title.  The Lady Falcons scored 129 points for a second place finish and Johnson County Central rounded out the top three with 79.333 points.  Individual results for Freeman were as follows:

Shot Put:  1st place, Alaina Huls, 36’ 9”; 4th place, Elizabeth Nelson, 32’ 4”
High Jump:  1st place, Lauren Parde, 4' 7"; 5th place, Kaitlyn Meints, 4’ 4”
Long Jump:  4th place, Marissa Haynes, 15’ 8.75”
Triple Jump:  5th place, Elizabeth Milke, 27’ 7.5”’ 6th place, Katie Unvert, 27’
3200 Meter Relay:  1st place, Cassidy Mason, Lauren Parde, Alexis Holland, and Emily Lenners, 11:16.9
100 Meter Dash:  4th place, Marissa Haynes, 13.1; 5th place, Tori Bredvick, 13.4
200 Meter Dash:  1st place, Marissa Haynes, 27.9; 3rd place, Tori Bredvick, 28.6
400 Meter Dash:  2nd place, Tori Bredvick, 66.1; 6th place, Mariah Waters, 73.5
800 Meter Run:  4th place, Emily Lenners, 2:49.4’  5th place, Jessica Larkins, 2:55.2
1600 Meter Run:  2nd place, Alexis Holland, 6:17.2; 4th place, Marissa Waters, 6:26.8, 5th place, Kaitlyn Meints,
300 Hurdles:  6th place, Megan Timms, 59.3
400 Meter Relay:  1st place, Megan Timms, Marissa Haynes, Tori Bredvick, and Cassidy Mason, 55.5
1600 Meter Relay:  3rd place, Cassidy Mason, Elizabeth Milke, Katie Unvert, and Mariah Waters, 4:55.6
