Freeman Welcomes Three New Staff Members
Freeman Public Schools is pleased to welcome three new staff members for the 2014-15 school year.
“Freeman is very excited to bring Erin Sieh into our school, communities and administrative team,” said Superintendent Randy Page, who was formerly fulfilling both the role of superintendent and elementary principal. Sieh will assume the duties of Elementary Principal.
Sieh previously taught third grade at Deerfield Elementary in Blair before accepting the position at Freeman. She graduated from Hastings College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary music and elementary education.
In May 2011, Sieh graduated with a Master’s in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. She is also a Filley High School graduate.
Sieh and her husband, Tim, live in Gretna, and have two-year-old twin girls, Emma and Reagan.
Aaron Delhay will be the secondary information technology teacher, Delhay comes to Freeman from Kimball, Nebraska. He has an advanced degree in information technology.
"Aaron is going to bring some creative ideas to the information technology curriculum," Michl said. "He's coming in and going to be taking students in a different direction than what we've done in the past. With info tech ever changing, we will be helping our students make these changes.
Ross Rumsey will be the new secondary business teacher and will teach two sections of junior high social studies.
“Ross has been in private business for the last few years but has previously taught and coached at Neligh-Oakdale,” said Michl. “He will also be the assistant girls basketball coach and help with the junior high track program.”
