Rebecca Jobman, secondary language arts teacher at Freeman High School, is the 2013 recipient of the Freda Battey Distinguished Educator Award for Excellence in Teaching, presented by the college of Education and Human Sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Mrs. Jobman was nominated by former Freeman student, Kristen Andersen.  Mrs. Jobman will be honored for her accomplishments at a luncheon at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus Union on June 7.

At that luncheon, the Freda Battey family will present her with a beautiful school bell and a cash prize.  Mrs. Jobman will then give a short presentation with the focus on teaching during this occasion.

Congratulations to Mrs. Jobman for this wonderful award.
