Girls Track Team Competes in Cougar Invite

On a cold and windy day, the Lady Falcons traveled to Conestoga to compete in the Cougar Invite.  Lincoln Lutheran won the meet with 127 points, while Elmwood-Murdock scored 96 points to finish in second place.  Platteview rounded out the top three with 68 points.  The Freeman girls scored 19 points to finish 8th in the nine team meet and were only one point behind seventh place Weeping Water.  Individual results for the Lady Falcons were as follows:

Shot Put:  5th place, Kylie Trobee, 33' 5"

100 Meter Hurdles:  4th place, Mackenzie Ruskamp, 18.0

300 Low Hurdles:  6th place, Mackenzie Ruskamp, 53.6

200 Meter Dash:  4th place, Kylie Trobee, 28.8

400 Meter Dash:  5th place, Kylie Trobee, 66.0

3200 Meter Run:  6th place, Brooke Mason, 13:45.7

1600 Meter Relay:  4th place, Katlyn Beu, Mackenzie Ruskamp, Sam Milke, and Celia Timms, 4:44.3

3200 Meter Relay:  6th place, Nichelle Meyer, Mallory Dorn, Celia Timms, and Brooke Mason, 12:08.2
