Junior High Girls Basketball Top Off Season at Lewiston

Freeman “A” 28 Lewiston “A” 9 The young Lady Falcons ended their season Wednesday, Feb. 21 traveling to Lewiston and came away with a hard fought victory. Carl Wilkens Visits Freeman Students

Freeman Public Schools was honored to host Carl Wilkens on Monday.   Carl was the head of the humanitarian aid organization ADRA in Rwanda, where he was living with his family when the genocide began in 1994.  Within a few days, all of the embassies and most of the United Nations pulled out of the country and left the Tutsi Rwandans to be killed by the Hutus.  Against the orders of the U.S. government, Carl refused . . .

Freeman “A” 47 Diller Odell 22 On Wednesday Feb. 14th, the Diller Odell Griffins came to Freeman for a 1:00 game. The young Lady Falcons played their best game of the season and sent them home with a 47-22 loss. The Falcons got off to a good start leading 9-2after one quarter; led 20-9 by halftime and 30-15 heading into the final six minutes.
